DIY lip balm trial

 Some DIY beauty fun with the girls.

Trying our luck at making lip balm today.

We tried caramel flavour and added a little sparkle.

We followed our trialled supplier instruction to start with,

 but I will try again soon changing things a little.

2 teaspoon beeswax*

2 teaspoon of Cocoa butter

1 teaspoon of Shea butter

2 tsp almond oil with Vitamin E

10 drops of caramel flavour

a pick of sparkle

The great:

Nice texture, rich and hydrating.

Fun fun fun!

The not soooo great:

10 drops of caramel flavour did not give enough flavour ? to investigate…

The sparkles disappeared as the balm dried :(

This balm is not suitable for Vegan, it seems like alternative wax is required for Vegan.

eg. Candellila and Macadamia wax?

Feeling totally spoiled by my lovely friend Michelle today.

The most amazing Healthy chocolate treats and pretty flowers what else could I want?!

I am totally addicted to the  amazing Vegan raw chocolate cheesecakes.

I am currently begging for the recipe!

Tween Party

 It was a tween party!

Embracing pink, strawberry and cream and sister's love...

making Lavender Bath bombs

and... bath salt


Unfortunately I lost my recipes in the Birthday clean up!

We mixed Epsom salt, sea salt, berry tea bags (minus bags!) and lavender oil drops…The girls picked :)

you can find zillion of recipes like this one for some citrus or this one for rosemary and adding bicarbonate of soda.

For a the bath bomb we made them with lavender oil and lavender flower.

For some really cute coconut oil one see this one!I may try that next :)

Happy means Caramel, maple latte today

So many things …

But...

Happiness today is as simple as a new pretty cup and a new Home made coffee!

Method:
Caramelito coffee
Some milk* to froth
Maple syrup to drizzle & voila!

Have a try if you can!

*Lactose free milk works perfect for me, but I am sure any vegetal or dairy could work.

December Brisbane Indie Market

This is what December looks like in Brisbane: sunny and  hot :)

It has been a year of Event photography for the BrisStyle Indie Market in the CIty hall.

Saturday the crowd was amazing and it was just the place to be for all things fresh and gorgeous!

The last Brisstyle Market (of the year) will be the Twilight Market on Friday night with lots of great Christmas entertainment on St George Square...
